HAPPY FASHION REVOLUTION WEEK EVERYONE, if you are not sure what I´m referring to, please have a read about what and who fashion revolution are. You can also find out how you can get involved and make a change, creating a better world for everyone involved in how we make and use clothes today. As you might already know our fashion industry is very destructive to both our planet and the people involved in the making of clothes. Fashion Revolution week sets focus on the issues and how we can make changes.

HOW I MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS WEEK

I choose to donate to the amazing Fashion Revolution team.

I choose to write about in and share with people, hoping at least 1 person will take part.

I choose to support petitions and share them on social media.

I choose to make wise purchases when I buy new items.

Please check Fashion Revolution out and help support however you can. A small support is still a positive change for the better.

MUCH LOVE

Hi lovelies

The last few days have been full on preparing for my photo shoot for my graduate collection. I picked up my designs from my maker yesterday, and I´m so happy with them, my fabrics work really well together and all the styles look amazing. Can´t wait to see the shots from the shoot, coming up this Thursday. Jens and I went to my locations today, to get some test shots done, and go through some details for Thursday. It will be a long day, so important to be organised so everyone knows what they are doing and that way the shoot should be done with a great outcome.

Hope you got some exiting events this week, I´m going to take a breather finally, after Thursday.

Happy weekend lovely people, hope you got some fun plans ahead? Life in Sydney is pretty hectic with my graduate collection presentation coming up in just three weeks. I´m getting my garments back from my maker then doing the photo shoot next week Thursday. It´s all coming together and it feels amazing. We are also preparing for our travel back to Europe and I cant wait for a relaxing adventures mini travel on the way home, through Asia.

Travelling is one on my favourite things, and this time we are only bringing backpacks, and minimum of stuff, as we just want to have it pretty simple. So preparing for our trip I really needed a pair of good sandals, as we do like to walk and explore when we travel. I discovered the brand Melissa last year, and I´be been living in their boots, classic, comfortable and conscious.

MY NEW SANDALS

Melissa is a Brazilian shoe brand that only does PVC and recycled rubber shoes, so even their boots that might look like leather are in fact not. The styles are amazing and I love the fact that I finally found a good quality shoe brand that does not use animal products and also looks great.

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND PEOPLE

Over the easter weekend Jens and I went up the coast with some friends, such a beautiful day spent out of the busy city. I honestly can´t wait to live a bit more secluded and closer to nature again, I love city life but I think I love nature life even more in the long run.

For easter we drove up Central Coast and to Lake Macquarie. As we planned it a bit last minute a few of the activities we wanted to do was unfortunately booked out, but we still made it a fun day.

One of our stops was a park area that is surrounded by wild Kangaroos and they love interacting with humans, especially when we come with bananas. I love seeing animals in the wild, as that is where they should be.

How cute is this little one?

Have a lovely week people, getting back to normal after some easter fun

Happy easter everyone, hope you have enjoyed some cherished  days off with fun, relaxing, adventure or whatever you like to do with your days off.

I´ve had a few days off and I also decided to work a couple of days. Yesterday we went on a beautiful trip up the coast, so will share some great picture later this week.

Thought it was time to share some outfit photos again, as it has been a while, these are from earlier this week, Jens and I enjoyed some time outside.

I love wearing lace, and to make sure it does not become to dull and “old school” I wear it with either boots, cool sneakers or some chunky heels and accessories that gives the outfit a modern feel.

Enjoy your last day of easter fun beautiful people

Hi lovelies, hope you having a good start to the holidays, I´m looking forward to a few days off, all though we have much to organise as we have to leave our apartment in about 4 weeks. Time is going so fast.. Even though my life is hectic, with moving, planning and most important graduating I still manage to keep up with some of my routines.

As the health freak that I am, I have a set routine every morning. Getting a good start to the day is so important so for me these two routines are gold to feeling fresh and ready for a new day.

1.

I start every day with cleaning out my mouth with coconut oil, basically this is the very first thing I do before anything else. you keep the coconut oil in your mouth for about 20 minutes, and then you spit it out. This cleans out all bacteria, germs, whiter teeth and over all health benefits coconut oil has. It also gives you a better oral hygiene and gives you a fresh start to the day.

2.

After my mouth clean I always brush my teeth before eating or drinking, as its not good for your teeth to brush them right after drinking or eating. Then I have pure lemongrass with fresh ginger, lemon and apple cider vinegar tea. This is a great boost to your immune system and inner and outer health. I make sure this is the first thing I have in the morning, so it can work its magic on an empty stomach.

Have a lovely holiday pretty people

Hi lovelies, hope you had a wonderful week and weekend?

Sunday was my only real day off this week, spent cleaning and preparing for our big move that is sneaking up on us. We also got out of the house, went to a local market to get some beautiful slow travelled groceries and a quick autumn swim in the beautiful sun.

After a week of not much outside time, it was so appreciated to enjoy a bit of sun on my body. We all need sunshine to live and it is not a lie saying that sunshine really boost your system. I´ve probably seen a bit to much sunshine the last 4,5 years as life here in Sydney is over all very sunny. Though I´ve come to not really appreciate it as much as I used to do back when I lived in Norway. So today when I had that feeling off appreciating again, it was amazing. Such a little thing makes such a massive impact.

Have a lovely week pretty people

Happy Sunday lovely people, hope you had a great week?

Blogging is unfortunately at the bottom of my priority list right now, with all my focus on the creation of my graduate collection and organising little and big things before we leave Australia for good, at least we believe it is for good. Such a strange and exiting feeling…

As I´m pretty stressed and a bit out of my usual calm zone, I decided to use the little spare time I got on getting fresh air, experiencing things I still want to do before leaving and trying to keep up with my yoga routines. Even though your life might be busy as hell, finding some time to do something just for yourself might just be what you need to push through.
