I´m currently in Phnom Penh, watching the crazy afternoon rain pore. It has been raining every afternoon, around 4-5pm, which is very refreshing, a good excuse to just have a drink, do some computer work, read a book, or simply watch the rain pore.

As promised I have some more photos from our day at the temples in Siem Reap, Jens loves taking photos, so the camera is always with us. I absolutely recommend doing several temples around Siem Reap, best way is to get a driver for the day, a so called tuk-tuk driver, he waits for you, know where to take you and you can also get some sightseeing from just sitting on the tuk-tuk.

More updates coming soon

Hi beautiful people, hope you are well.

We are currently in Cambodia, which has so far been great. It has taken a few days to get acclimatised, as it is very tropical here at this time of year. Summer in Asia is very hot, wet and humid, so you sweat non stop. All though it is rain season and you would think it rains all the time, we have only had a bit of rain in the late afternoon, which is great, as it cools everything down a bit.

SIEM REAP

The first stop on our Cambodia trip was Siem Reap, where you find the famous Ankor Wat temple, and hundreds of surrounding temples, having some knowledge about the history of it all makes it much more interesting. We found Ankor Wat beautiful, but actually several of the smaller temples where more interesting. Our hotel is about 10 min drive from the city centre (which is a pretty small centre). Our hotel is a great little oasis, amazing staff, beautiful pool area and amazing rooms.

I will do a separate blog post sharing more amazing temple photos with you guys, just got to get them sorted first.

A FEW SNAPSHOTS FROM THE LAST FEW DAYS

Tomorrow we are getting on a bus for about 7h, making our way to the capital city Phnom Penh. Phnom Penh is supposed to be very busy and dirty, so we only have two nights there. We really want to experience the Killing Fields, it is such an important part of the Cambodian history.

Much love from the tropics

GOODBYE SYDNEY

We are on our way to Cambodia, all we have left are two backpacks full of easy Summer clothes, ending our time here just how it started, as two exited travellers, on a mission to explore, discover and enjoy.

I thought it was suitable to share one last outfit post from Sydney, taken at one of my absolute favourite places; by the rock cliffs down by the ocean in the eastern suburbs.

Have a fabulous weekend everyone

Cosmetics and beauty care is something I usually do not spend much money on, I like using my homemade shampoo, face and body scrub and not forget; coconut oil for everything. However if I do use products it has to be not tested on animals and contain as little unnatural ingredients as possible, as I prefer treating my body to only high quality products and food. As natural as possible is always key in my decisions and purchases.

A few weeks ago Jens surprised me with a little gift from Lush cosmetics, which is a really great cosmetics brand. I got a beautiful honey soap and a oat body lotion, which are both great for sensitive and dry skin. As this is something I usually don´t spend money on, it was a really nice little surprise, especially now during all my uni stress. It feels like I haven´t taken good enough care of myself, so this little gift was a great reminder of doing so.

Lush even provides you with booklets explaining the different ingredients and preservatives

Hope you make the time to treat yourself even during busy times

Hi lovelies; long time no see – I´ve been overworked with all my finals for uni the last week, and Friday it all got sent off to print, so just a few little things left then I´m done. Such a unreal feeling, after my presentation on Friday its complete.

I set my deadline Friday afternoon, as I wanted to go away with my girlfriends for the weekend, last chance before we move back to Europe, so thankfully I managed to get through it all on time.

The farm belongs to my friends boyfriends family, and it was just perfect. No noise, just green lush surroundings, animals and peace. Wine, games good food and laughs.

Hope you are having a good start to your week, I´ve been working from home today, finalising technical work for my finals, we also had our shipping company pick up all our packed boxes today. So the apartment is empty, its really only some furniture left and a little bit of clothing. Such a strange feeling.

The other day when Jens and I took some test shots for my photoshoot I got some outfit photos out of it to, so thought it was time for an outfit post again, long time no see.
