I´m currently doing research for a project my love tribe; Golden Goddesses and I are working on, which we are really exited about and I cant wait to share more with you guys. So doing some research I found this beautiful self-love poem, written by unknown author. Reading it for myself, I felt the immediate need to share it with as many people as possible.

Start your week with taking your time reading this poem, and truly find a way to start loving yourself authentically.


As I began to love myself I found that anguish and emotional suffering are only warning signs that I was living against my own truth. Today, I know, this is AUTHENTICITY.

As I began to love myself I understood how much it can offend somebody if I try to force my desires on this person, even though I knew the time was not right and the person was not ready for it, and even though this person was me. Today I call it RESPECT.

As I began to love myself I stopped craving for a different life, and I could see that everything that surrounded me was inviting me to grow. Today I call it MATURITY.

As I began to love myself I understood that at any circumstance, I am in the right place at the right time, and everything happens at the exactly right moment. So I could be calm. Today I call it SELF-CONFIDENCE.

As I began to love myself I quit stealing my own time, and I stopped designing huge projects for the future. Today, I only do what brings me joy and happiness, things I love to do and that make my heart cheer, and I do them in my own way and in my own rhythm. Today I call it SIMPLICITY.

As I began to love myself I freed myself of anything that is no good for my health – food, people, things, situations, and everything that drew me down and away from myself. At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism. Today I know it is LOVE OF ONESELF.

As I began to love myself I quit trying to always be right, and ever since I was wrong less of the time. Today I discovered that is MODESTY.

As I began to love myself I refused to go on living in the past and worrying about the future. Now, I only live for the moment, where everything is happening. Today I live each day, day by day, and I call it FULFILLMENT.

As I began to love myself I recognised that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection WISDOM OF THE HEART.

We no longer need to fear arguments, confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others. Even stars collide, and out of their crashing new worlds are born.
Today I know THAT IS LIFE.

Sending you love from magical winter wonderland, I´m back in Norway after a month in Australia. A month of great learning and much needed sun, however I was ready for my holiday to come to an end and I´m very exited for a new chapter in my life to evolve.

I really want to start the next month feeling completely energised and cleansed, so this holiday has certainly done the job for my energy level being increased, but the cleansing still need to be completed. To feel cleansed, I´m doing a salt water flush followed by a kitchardi detox.

I started the day today with a salt water flush. A salt water flush is a very simple cleanse of your colon and great way to detoxify your internal system.



HOW TO DO IT

make sure you have not had any food for at least 2-3 hour prior ( I prefer doing it in the moring, on a day that I have at least 3 hours before I have to leave the house, but preferable on a day you dont really have to do much.)

Boil 1 litre of water, so the water is purified. Pour the boiled water into a jar, adding two spoons of the salt, making sure you are using good quality salt – preferable himalaya salt.

Allow the water and salt mixture to cool down til a temperature that is easy to drink fast.

Add some fresh lemon to make it taste better.

I also add ground turmeric app 1 big table spoon to the mixture.

When the mixture have reached a comfortable temperature, you try to drink all of it as quick as possible. Preferable within 5 minutes.

It will taste extremly salty and you will fill a bit sick from drinking so much salt water. (At least I do)

When you have managed to finish the mixture, I personally like to make the detox more ceremonial. I put on some relaxing meditation / yoga music and allow my body to move slowly in an organic way, touching my stomach area gently. Sending good intention and love to the gut that is about to let go of toxins that no longer serve your body.

I´m making sure to eat food that is gentle to the system and easy to digest for the rest of the day, and will start the kitchardi detox the following day.



A kitchardi detox is an ancient detox from the Indian Ayurvedic system, which is a combination of basmati rice, mung beans and Ayurvedic spices; Turmeric, cumin, coriander and fennel.

This exact combination of spices and grains have been used for thousands of years as a gentle detox for the digestive system making sure you get all the nutrition your body need.

“What is kitchardi? Touted as an Ayurvedic superfood, kitchardi is a stew of mung bean, basmati rice, ghee (clarified butter) or sesame oil (vegan) and digestive spices. The mung lentil’s completeness score (how complete a food is in all of the elements needed by the human body, including vitamins, minerals, starches, fats and proteins) is 80/100 (this is super rare). Ghee or sesame oil and rice supply the 20 missing elements like fat soluble vitamins, essential fatty acids and carbohydrates. So this means that kitchardi gives you everything your body needs without any other foods, and actually eating kitchardi is probably giving you more of the elements your regular diet is missing.

In Ayurveda, mung is recognised for its detoxifying properties, while also being rejuvenative. This is really unique because most herbs and foods that detox strip down the body tissues instead of replenishing them. Kitchardi is considered a nutritive for the digestive system, meaning it helps to restore and rehabilitate digestive tissues.” 

This will be the first time I will try this detox, and I´m really exited for it. The detox is recommended to do for 3 to 7 days. Since its the first time, I will start with 4 days. If this seems all right for my body, I will try to make this a regular detox routine every 2nd month.

Good morning amazing tribe, I´m hoping that the new year have started off with good things for you and that you are on a path to becoming the best version of yourself and allowing your mind body and soul enough time for healing.

I´m still in Australia soaking up some much needed vitamin D from its most natural source, doing costal walks, a lot of physical yoga practise and reading 2-3 hours everyday. The last two weeks have been a time for me to charge the batteries and prepare for a new exiting year, with many new things being added to my life when I go back home. I want to be 200% present with myself, so I can put that energy into creating amazing things and help others to become more connected and conscious, becoming a better version of them self.

I believe that we all have to be in contact with ourselves and have a loving relationship with ourselves to be able to bring love and care to the world we live in. From my past experience I´ve learned that in order to heal and help the people around, you need to be in that state of unconditional love with yourself and your life. In order to maintain this state we need to nourish our mind, body and spirit.

TAKE THE TIME TO HEAL

This is so important, taking the time to heal.
For many of us living in harsh long winter conditions, we sometimes tend to need more nourishment than those living in warmer climate. Wherever you live, whatever your life situation is, take the time and listing to what your body is telling you. What are the signs of what you need?

I need warm weather and sun, not all the time, because I love the seasons and I love the winter, but my mind, body and soul does not love the winter and the darkness for 5 months straight. So one of my healing methods during the winter is to respect that I need sun, and take action and go where the sun is. When I get there, I make sure that I stay present and that I take the time to truly send love and thanks to the sun for healing me.

When I respect my body and listen to it, and pay attention to the signals, I notice the difference straight away. I allow myself time to heal. This results in me being able to bring more good vibes out to the world and little by little make this world a more loving place.

I hope from the deepest loving place in my heart that you see that that is so important and that you, if our not already healing yourself, will join me on this path. If you are unsure of what you need; start journaling. Writing down when you notice that you are having a hard time, notice what the reasons are and slowly start making a map of what type of healing you need for different times of the year and for different situations.

I hope you are ready to start the new year working on unconditional love for yourself and your own healing journey, so you can become a part of the love revolution, healing the world.

Coming back to Australia for holiday started with some obstacles that I was not prepared for; As long as you flow with it and stay present in the moment of change the problems tend to seem smaller and will have a lesser negative effect on you. I love planning and follow plans, but the more I want to stick to the plan the less it works out, and disappointment occur. This pattern of planning and disappointment have thought me to be more present in the moment right now, and embrace any change that might happen to my plan.

Practising more presences have truly helped me in difficult situations or whenever things are not going the way I want them to, I try to take a few deep breaths and bring myself back to the current moment, and tell myself that this is what is is right now, analyse the current situations. Often it turns out that the current moment – the situations is not as bad as your mind is making it up to be. Just because its not what you hoped for or wanted it to be, does not mean its necessarily bad. If you have a positive mindset, any bad situation can be turned around.

The obstacles I´ve had on this trip, was a gentle reminder of being more present in the now, and not worry to much about the plan that I have mapped out. I believe that we are given what we need or have attracted in most cases true out life, and at this time in life I needed to embrace change, a difficult situation and work on being present in the now.

Happy 2019, we are just entering a new year, with new days filled with new opportunities and experiences.
I was supposed to end the year and start the new year at an ashram here in Australia, but this plan took a bit of a turn.
I truly believe that listing to our intuition is is so important for when we make decision or choose a path. I had a very serious experience of listing to my intuition this past week.

As I arrived at the ashram I had this worrying feeling in my stomach from the beginning, which I at first tried to ignore. I ignored this feeling of anxiety and stress for a day, even though this ashram turned out to be nothing like the online descriptions of it. I was all alone with the man running this place, ( which turned out to be his house with no signes of it actually being a retreat or ashram) in the middle of nowhere with the closest neighbour 3km away, and no phone connection. After spending two days at this place I was feeling more stressed than I ever had in my life, finding myself in a situation I was not prepared for.

A part of me was telling me to suck it up and stay because I planned to stay for 10 days and that I should stick to my plan, and hoping it would get better. But then my intuition was shouting at me to find a way to escape, my whole body was screaming for an escape. I did not trust this person at all, so asking him to take me back to civilisation was not an option at all.
I had no phone connection and was not able to call anyone, so my only option was to run, but I had a heavy backpack so I would never be able to get away during the day, as I was stuck with him at all times.
I therefore managed to pack up my things right before going to bed, then I was laying in bed listing to any confirming sounds that he was asleep. After 3 hours I carefully walked down to the floor he was sleeping on, I heard he was snoring, and I grabbed all my belongings and snuck out. I half run through this dirt road in the forest for 3km until I reach the closest neighbour ( which was a lovely lady that I thankfully had met the day before)
I ended up hiding in a teepee she had in her garden, spending the night crawled up there, and thankfully the next morning they helped me get away from this place being the most loving people, just what I needed at this point.

I`m so grateful for listing to my intuition and getting away from a situation that was a real unpleasant experience and I also believe that the universe is taking me in the direction that I should go in, so there was a purpose for this, teaching me that sticking to the plan is not always the best option, and testing my abilities to look after myself.

Instead of letting this experience eat me up I just turned it around to a positive, as I got to spend three amazing days with my lovely friend up the Sunshine Coast and then another 4 days at my other friends tranquil farm, so I feel so blessed and at ease now after having these relaxing days surrounded by amazing nature and great people.

Life is a constant wave of change, and if we get to stuck in a routine or obsessed with our initial plan we will miss out on great experiences that will come our way, experiences that was maybe what we truly should have experienced. So be open-minded to change and allow yourself to drift off from your original plan and listen to your intuition.
