Dining in Sydney is an amazing experience; Beautiful venues, quality produce, interesting menu´s and divine drinks. The other night my two Norwegian friends and I tested this new Scandinavian inspired casual fine dining place “Norsk Dor”. Moments like that really makes me miss my beautiful home and I cant wait to return very soon…

This dress used to be a maxi dress with sleeves and a bit of a oversized look, the style and the colour combined came of slightly old-lady-like.. even though I did love it, it was time for some changes. As I´m a believer in reduce – reuse – recycle, I´ve decided to reuse it, and I made it into a short flowing summer dress, the top part (I will show another time) has become a top with open back.

I´ve spent the last 3 + years living in a place where the sun is shining almost every day, and there are only 3 months that are to cold for being in a bikini ( even less if you go up the coast) This have made me slightly obsessed with bikinis and beautiful beach wear. Going up the coast in a few weeks, being a good reason for a new bikini purchase, or two. These are a few of my favourite labels…

Sustainable living and making ethical choices are two very important matters to me and it should be to everyone. Hopefully my weekly ideas and lifestyle choices can inspire others to become more ethical and sustainable on their life journey. 

My good friend made me these beautiful candles, from empty oyster shells, so instead of just throwing the shells out she made candles, they actually serves a new purpose and when burnt down, we can make new candles. This idea is not a very ethical or sustainable idea, but it is a great example of how we should she an object or “rubbish” with new eyes, and free the potential.

One of my lovely co-workers gave me this “bracelet” when she came back from her home; Peru, as it actually was a key chain, I thought it was to pretty for a key chain and wore it as a bracelet, maybe a statement necklace tomorrow…?

My week always begins with a morning yoga session down by the beach. Nothing makes a better start of the week and your body really benefits from doing yoga weekly. I practise alone, as it saves me money not going to a yoga studio, being a student living in an expensive city, that is one way I save. I practised yoga for a long time in studios before I went on by myself, so if you are new to yoga, always get lessons first, and when you feel confident enough to go on by yourself, check in with a mentor once in a while to improve and strengthen your yoga skills.
